About Us

    2019

      As we look forward to the new year

                      We look back over the last year and even the last 5 years of being a business and how much we have accomplished, the people and groups in our community we have supported, and how much we have grown as a company, we look back at all of this and think, how can we continue to grow.

                      Over the course of the year each of our technicians (Matt, Darin, and Ron) and our Service Writer (Kerri) have attended 250+ hours of training;

Matt is an ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) certified tech and is working on his RVIA (RV Industry Association) certification who specializes in electrical testing, this last year he has attended training through Lippert, Thetford, SuperSteer, B&W, Horizon (Draw-Tite & Tekonsha), Demco & ATE (Automotive Training Expo) and is planning on taking classes with Dometic as well attending ATE again in the New Year;

Darin is working on his RVIA certification and specializes in body work, he attended training through Lippert, Thetford; SuperSteer, B&W, Horizon, and Demco this last year with plans to take classes with Dexter and ATE;

Ron who is our newest employee is beginning the certification process through RVIA, he is a disabled veteran and specializes in fabrication, he has completed classes with Roadmaster, B&W, Horizon, and Demco, and will be taking classes next year at ATE and with Dexter.

Kerri our Service Writer, has graduated through Elite’s Master’s Course for Service Writing, and has taken several customer service and business classes through AMI (Automotive Management Institute) and ATE, as well as product training classes through SuperSteer, Roadmaster, B&W, Horizon, and Demco, in 2019 her goal is to graduate from AMI.

The knowledge our employees gain helps us further our company so we can support our community. We are proud supporters of groups such as Got Your 6 Fishing, RMEF (Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation), Washington State Bowhunters, TCYMAS (Thurston County Youth Market Animal Sale), Greys Harbor Rodeo, Back Country Horsemen, Capital City Junior Rifle Club, North Thurston and Tumwater Equestrian Team, Olympia Rowing Club, as well as several 4-H and FFA members.

At Ernie’s, we are here to impact the lives of the people who we interact with; whether that is our employee’s, our customers, or people in the community. We are growing as a company and our goal is to be in a larger and more modern facility in 2019. Our employees are our family and we challenge them to be better than what they think themselves capable of, we strive to make them feel at home and always welcome, and that their input counts. As we reflect on the last year and even the last 5 years we are so proud of what they have accomplished here with us and the people whose lives they have affected. We hope everyone who took the time to read this reflects on their last year as well and think of all that they have accomplished and be proud. We wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
